Mr. Juge has served at a State level as Chairman on the Commercial Industry Committee, LA/MS CCIM Chapter President, and Commercial Investment Division (CID) of the New Orleans Metro Assn. of Realtors’ President. Realtor Juge holds the professional designations of CCIM, SIOR (Society of Office and Industrial Realtors), and CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist). Since his professional career began, his total real estate transaction volume has topped $250,000,000.
To date his accomplishments include being honored for the largest commercial office leases in ‘97, ’00, ’01, & ‘02, largest office sale of ’11 &‘12, the largest special purpose transaction in ‘98, the largest industrial leases in 2004, ‘05, & ’06, the largest industrial sale in ’10;, largest land sale in ‘14 and the largest retail sale in ‘09 by the Commercial Investment Division of New Orleans Metro Association of Realtors. Mr. Juge has ranked in the top 25 commercial agents in RE/MAX Worldwide for the last couple years and was recently inducted into their highest level of production by being recognized with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the age of 41 and the Distinguished Service Award in 2007.
Instructional and Speaking Background
Richard has developed course materials on topics from real estate technology to corporate real estate. He is a Senior CCIM Instructor in CI-103 (User Decisions) and CI-104 (Investor Analysis) courses. He has taught for several States, CCIM Chapters, and been a conference speaker both domestically & internationally. He has been honored with international teaching assignments in: Tokyo, Mexico City, Seoul, Taipei, Warsaw, Shanghai, Moscow, and Istanbul ,Turkey where he helped the expansion of the CCIM curriculum. Mr. Juge has been a part of on-line and blended educational delivery reaching students around the globe with the international rewrite of two of CCIM’s core courses.
Investments & Consulting
Mr. Juge also puts together partnerships to invest in commercial real estate. He is also involved in the sustainability movement for commercial real estate with his past investment in Green PSF and currently with Braven Environmental, offering a unique solution to the worlds plastic problem. Another growing part of his business is consulting with companies on their long term commercial real estate needs.
Personal
I’m most proud of raising three children in New Orleans with my wife Beth. Our oldest Charlie is now working in the family business, and Max and Isabelle are studying at LSU.
